4.1 Subscription Plans

Local Coach offers multiple subscription tiers (Community, Coach, Studio, Enterprise) with different features and limitations. Current pricing and features are available on our website.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time
• Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle
• Upgrades are prorated and take effect immediately

4.2 Payment Terms

• All fees are charged in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified
• Payment is due in advance for each billing cycle
• We accept major credit cards and other payment methods through Stripe
• Failed payments may result in service suspension or termination
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring subscriptions

• Subscription Refunds: No refunds for partial billing periods, but you retain access until period ends
• Course Refunds: 30-day money-back guarantee for course purchases (subject to completion limits)

• Instructor Refunds: Handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with consumer protection laws

5.1 Your Content Rights

You retain all rights to content you create and upload to Local Coach ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store, display, and deliver your content through our Service
• Create backup copies for data protection purposes
• Optimize content for different devices and connection speeds
• Allow students to access content they have purchased or enrolled in

The Local Coach platform, including its software, design, logos, and branding, is owned by Local Coach Pty Ltd and protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.

We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid copyright infringement notices. To report copyright infringement:

10.1 Termination by You

• You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings

10.2 Termination by Local Coach

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Violation of these Terms or our community guidelines
• Non-payment of fees or fraudulent payment activity
• Illegal activity or court orders
• Extended periods of inactivity (with notice)

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your access to the Service will be immediately suspended
• Outstanding payment obligations remain due
• Survival provisions (warranties, indemnification, limitation of liability) continue
• You may request data export within 30 days of termination

11.1 Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles. The courts of Victoria, Australia have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

11.2 Dispute Resolution

Before initiating legal proceedings, we encourage resolving disputes through:

1. Direct communication with our support team
2. Mediation through an agreed neutral third party
3. Australian Consumer Law processes where applicable

11.3 Consumer Rights
